Samantha smiled as she walked into the boy's area of the sleeping quarters and walked over to the attending in charge. The older woman pointed to a young teen in a bed near the wall at the back of the room. "Catalano claims he isn't feeling well," said the woman. "but there doesn't seem to be anything from that I notice." While the other boys left the area to go to classes Samantha nodded and said. "Let me be the judge of that," heading back toward Jordan's bed. She smiled at him and glanced at the name plate on his bed. "Hi Jordan," she said gently. "I'm Sammy, I'm the new nurse here."

Jordan nodded and said "Hello."

Samantha smiled and crouched down into the space between the beds. "Not feeling well?" Samantha asked.

Jordan nodded "Sì non sentirsi bene." he said softly.

(Translation - Yes not feeling well)

Samantha smiled. Not many people knew she spoke Italian, not even Jeff knew. "L'italiano era la sua prima lingua?" Samantha asked.

(translation: Italian was your first language?)

Jordan blushed when he realized he had slipped into Italian "Si." he answered softly.

(Translation - Yes)

Samantha smiled. "It's okay Jordan, I took Italian in high school and in college, if you slip it's fine with me."

Jordan nodded "Grazie normally people hate it when i do that."

Samantha nodded. "So what exactly is bothering you?"

"My stomachs been hurting." Jordan answered.

Samantha nodded and gently placed her hand on Jordan's forehead. "You don't seem to be running a fever," she said.

Jordan just shrugged.

Samantha pulled the blanket away from Jordan. "I'm just gonna put a little pressure on your stomach in a few places, you let me know if it hurts anywhere," she said as she started.
